Joel hurried to catch up, but when he turned, Bramble wasn't there.
"B-a-a! B-a-a!"
Joel followed the sound until he spotted the lamb, tangled in dead branches and stumbling backward toward the edge of the cliff.
"I'm here!" Joel shouted. Then he reached out his staff and pulled Bramble to safety.
